On the changing of transmission fluid are you just changing the fluid or getting a flush fluid change ?

What's the recommendation for front shocks ? Has the Z95 suspension.

I've run several GM automatics over 200k miles with filter and refills at normal service intervals. Usually around 50k miles. Get the pan off, see what's in there, clean really well.

Does having the transmission flushed instead of just fluid changed void my extended warranty?

For the Z95 suspension, replace them with genuine GM shocks. RockAuto.com or GMPartsDirect.com will be far cheaper than your local GM dealer.

I see the GM ones don't have springs on them . Is the spring easy to change.

Just finished changing my 10L80 fluid, pan gasket, and filter last night. Shifting immediately improved. I was seeing slight hesitations becoming more and more frequent, but now it's shifting smooth and sharp at the same time, if that makes sense. Various videos on YouTube that helped me through the process. Didn't require any special tools, except a pump to get the new fluid in(which you can find at home depot)

I would not attempt to disassemble the strut assembly myself, as a heavy duty spring compressor in needed for that job (very dangerous if you don't have one). What I did was remove the strut assemblies from the truck, as the removal and installation process for these struts is easy if you currently do any wrenching. Then, I would take the strut assemblies and the new shocks to a local repair shop, and let them disassemble and then re-assemble the struts with the new shocks. Then, you complete the re-installation of the rebuilt strut assemblies on your truck.
