Hey all,

I see lots of posts but they are all 2015 - 2018 for the buffeting noise. My Hoe is driving me insane and two dealers told me they cannot hear it!

Any advice on next steps or if there is a TSB about it for the 19?

TIA - hope to get a smooth quiet ride soon!

tell them to go through the car wash dryer section and hear it for themselves.

bad news, they still dont really have a clue how to fix it

it effects '15-'20
have to imagine the '21 & up , may have it still or reduced.

my '15 never had this issue.... so its very hit or miss

from prior post
dealer has a list of things to try... unfortunately these items dont always resolve it.

-get rid of crap GM bridgestone tires (have dealer get you something of quality)
-road force balance your new tires
(rim size doesnt seem to matter)
-update roof reinforcements
-change out front &/or rear driveshaft
-replace entire rear end/differential
-disable AFM w/ either range device or a tune
-change body mounts (this is new update on 17's, *** still doesnt fix issue)

for now it seems most vehicles either have the issue or not. most have. there is no rhyme or reason.
i have a '15 ltz burb 4x4 (w/ 6ok)... no issues so far. <knock on wood>

Up here to the right
Yea my 19' has it with one window open, open more windows or the sunroof and it's gone, Escalade's have same issue
All 4 doors have it with 1 window open.. especially a back window. Problem here it happens with all windows up...

we had a 15 LTZ 2wd that had it start after hitting a deer. They had to take the headliner down and glue the roof rails to the roof.

Knock on wood neither our 19 or 20 both 4wd have it.

Go to the fuel economy info page... look at the bottom left and see if you only hear the noice when the engine goes into v4 mode... if that’s the case it’s normal and nothing can be done unless you get an aftermarket tune to turn it off which is available

can put it in Manual & drive 1 gear down... if you dont want to tune it or get a Range device or change cam, to keep it out of v4
