it is about time to replace my 2012 suburban LT
I am looking at getting a 19 Yukon Denali.
So far I know I would like 4 WD, Sunroof and the electric side steps.
As far as the other options what does everyone prefer or wish they had not gotten?
Thanks in advance!

With the options you want, not really anything else to add except adaptive cruise control.

Yes adaptive cruise control, and are you getting the XL? You mentioned replacing a Suburban so I assume so in which case I’d get the drop down screens too. Even if you don’t have kids it’ll help with resale value on a LWB.

I got the "Ultimate" package. It seems that any of the ones I looked at with power steps had that package on it.

Magnetic ride control too? I have it on my Corvettes, and my new Tahoe.......... I love it, I was slicing through the curves on a mountain road yesterday....virtually no body sway...

On my second Yukon Denali and in both cases skipped the folding side steps - They look like nothing but trouble and from other posts that appears to be the case. I can't imagine how well they don't work when crusted with 6 inches of winter road ice. Somehow I ended up with the auto-brake on my current Denali and it's a pain in the butt and i know that the day isn't far off when I'll get rear ended. The GM performance brakes rock - far better than the factory brakes I had on my 2016. I'm also a fan of the 60/40 2nd row bench seat - What can I say? Another note: I feel the 2019 sound system is not even close to what my 2016 had - someplace they've cheaped out, so I'd recommend buying the upgrade.

Under what circumstances are you’re auto brakes engaging? I’ve come up onto other cars really fast and had to slam on my brakes and auto braking never engages. Thought they do work great when adaptive cruise is engaged.

The auto-brake issue is cropping up primarily when coming up on another vehicle to pass them. just as I get close and am about to change lanes, the power cuts out and the brakes apply - Not good. I've checked my settings and auto-brake is deselected. I also do not have adaptive cruise.

I bought a 2WD 2019 Yukon Denali in May 2019. Traded my 2016 Yukon Denali. Most of the Denali's come pretty loaded. Mine had the Ultimate package.
I have the power running boards. I also have the 22" Chrome wheels but would have preferred the 20".

Member Galante has a sweet 2019 XL. Let us know what you buy.
