Does anyone know how to turn off text message notifications on a 2021 / 2022 Yukon or Tahoe?

Only setting I can find looks like it will prevent connecting to my contacts too.

Sadly, there’s some of us out here who would like to get text notifications on the native system without having to hook up the AA or ACP…

ok, and? if you are worried about getting text messages then you may as well be worried about contact info as well.....
seems like a win win to me

and if you have to call out just use voice command it doesn't need to share anything

It was a setting in the phone. Maybe something with apple car play. I can't remember exactly but I turned it off when I first got mine 3 years ago

Edit: it's in messages in settings on the iphone. Just toggle it off
