Hey guys!

Purchased a 2021 GMC Yukon Denali (6.2L V8) about 3 months ago, I have been loving the vehicle so far (coming from a very problematic 2016 Range Rover Sport Supercharged. However since new I have been experiencing an issue and just wanted to confirm if this is normal or not. Basically the vehicle shakes a bit at red lights or when I come to a stop and the idle can be seen fluctuating up and down ever so slightly, when the vehicle shakes it is noticeably felt and is pretty consistent as in it shakes on start up's and does it also if I have been driving for about an hour.

Just wondering if this is normal or something I should get checked out as I'am planning on heading in for an oil change soon. Vehicle currently has 5500kms or 3400 Miles.

ah the good old chevy stumble. I thought that was just a 5.3 thing but maybe the bigger motors do it too. I've experienced this exact phenomenon for about a decade of 5.3 ownership. It's a very common thing, just ask google. At least it's not the "chevy shake" aka death wobble...

My ‘22 with 6.2 does the same thing, think it’s normal.

Hi,

did you manage to get any information from the dealer if it's something normal to have this shaking at idle mode? I have the same problem in my 2021 SLT Yukon and the dealer in Qatar told me it is normal!

My 2007 and my 2012 XL Denali's with the 6.2 both do it as well. I don't even notice it any more.

Also, having owned 3 Land Rovers (Disco 2, LR3, LR2), I understand your pain on the RR SC. I ended up with the Denali's as a result of wanting a less costly to maintain but still luxury SUV.

I’d still take it in, have them check for any Mia-fires. Hook up scan tool while it’s doing it. Could be normal, could be a marginal plug, wire, coil, etc.
