2022 Tahoe - Speedometer screen dead

Hey guys. First time post.

Today after filling up at the pump, I turned the car on and my speedometer screen was totally black. Never came on after several times locking and getting out of the car. Had to guess speed for an hour of driving.

Once I got to my destination I shut the car off for 10 minutes came back and it worked. Has anyone else had this happen?

Have not had this issue, but could you see the speed if you put the cruise control on? Just a thought to get you home. just the speedometer went out?

The entire screen went out, no fuel, speedo, tachometer, nada.

Was it hot outside? I parked my 22 Yukon in the sun for an afternoon and had the same issue.

How do you know if you have Instrument Cluster RPO UDV?

Also, how do you know which version of the software is already installed?

Asking bc I had the same problem few months ago. Solved by waiting around 30 minutes for the computer to fully shut down all sensors. After that, worked fine but pretty frustrating while waiting.

build sheet for the RPO and maybe the help screen for software version info.

If you have a 2022, you have UDV, that is the digital instrument cluster option code.

Happened to me today, not in heat or humidity.
Dealer tomorrow hopefully for a software update.
