Brought my Tahoe Jan 30th 2022 only 2 miles on it.. been in the service department all year! I haven’t even had it a year & I’m pissed.. 1st my dashboard screen went black an stayed out had it serviced.. they replaced that.. then check engine light on they said it’s something with the computer reading take it back to the service dept.. then one night it wouldn’t even start at all I thought I was gonna have to call an Uber home after waiting it finally started with a steady check engine light on .. back to service dept again ‍♀️ They said it was from starting from my phone glitch but it’s fixed now.. ohhhkay welp now check engine again.. it’s been in the shop now for going on a week somethin about the computer module reading wrong to heated steering wheel somethin weird that they can’t figure out but got my truck for over a week an gave me this lil filthy Chevy equinox loaner which wasn’t even serviced at all!! I actually had to fill the washer fluid in the loaner and throw away the other customers paperwork from previous people using the loaner that was left inside ‍♀️..This is beyond ridiculous.. I jus have 10,000 miles on an this thing has been serviced more than any vehicle I’ve ever owned an I always buy new! I seriously think GM rushed a lot of these trucks through jus to get them out! An now I gotta suffer playing the waiting game! Too many computer glitches an I’m paying my truck payment for a truck I haven’t driven in a week an my onstar auto monthly renewal for stuff I can’t utilize smh..

That kinda seems to be the wrap on the new GM trucks and SUV’s electrical issues and AFM/lifter issues did they ever replace the Body control module? I believe the body control module has a issue with the security system not communicating with the ignition so your issues could come down to a loose ignition wire or bcm wires which control your dashboard.

I'm sorry to read about all of the troubles that you've had with your truck. I understand your frustration, and I hope that you get your truck back, trouble free, soon.

If you don't have possession of vehicle I would try too. Then get vehicle to new dealership the dealership you are dealing with doesn't seem to be able to resolve to problems with vehicle.
And remember everyday vehicle has been in repair service and you haven't been able to drive is added time to your vehicles warranty so sounds like the warranty is going to be extented. Also if going to different dealer and vehicle keeps having problems you might entertain vehicle buy back. Good luck with a new dealer.

Sounds like good old fashioned service department incompetence. For those that keep replying to the 21+ forums about vehicles they have no idea about, please chill out lol. The prehistoric gm full size SUV were also different flavors of garbage. Don't think because your 4l60e hasn't had issues that they arnt garbage. Or the various other problems those trucks had.

Anyways OP you may want to find a different dealer. Good luck!

I'd look into a lemon lawsuit. My girlfriend had constant electrical issues on a Malibu back in 08' when it was brand new. In the shop numerous times as you have mentioned. She won enough to pay off most of the car.

1,000% on the lemon law. Breaks my heart. I used to be a fanboy. Can't remember how many GM cars and SUV's I had. I moved over to the "dark" and quality side. I went Toyota. [Lexus].

When my 07 has seen its day, Toyota here I come. Just too hard not to buy proven reliability when we are spending that kind of $$$. Plus, they stepped it up in the looks and comfort game.
