Hey guys,

First time posting! I've done a bunch of research but can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.

I have a 2003 Tahoe Z71 - I'm pretty sure my keys are cranked because the truck sits level, but that's the way I bought it so I'm not 100%.

I'm looking at getting new wheels - I'd like to go with 20s.

Specifically, i'm looking at these:

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whee...dClar=&target=runWheelSearch&wheelModel=AR901

(American Racing AR901) They have 2 different offset options: +20mm or 0mm

As for tires, I'm debating between a 285/50R20, or 295/50R20. TireRack recommends the 285s, but the 295 seems to be closest to my stock tire size in diameter (265/70R17):

https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Tire-Size-Calculator/265-70R17/285-50R20/295-50R20

So my question for you all is: will the 295s fit with the 0 offset wheels (no rubbing)? will they fit with the +20offset wheels?

Thanks in advance!

Most likely with a 295 width on a 0 offset it will rub when full lock but maybe you will be lucky and only rub on inclines. Best bet would be to get the +20 offset and no rub unless you want the 0 offset so they stick out about 1/2" from fender. If you have a z71 hoe with fender flares then you might be ok to run the 0 offset but minor trimming on the front gray valance.

Awesome, thanks for the advice! I think I may try 0 offset but go with the 285....

Hmm... Yeah... I guess if the wheels aren't far out enough (which they probably will be), I can always get a spacer... It's harder to go back in if they're too far out from the get-go!

Pretty much. I'm running a 265/70r18 on mine with +20 and I still have clearance
