Hey,
Relatively new around here... Just picked up a low mile fully loaded 2013 Tahoe LT for the wife to drive and use as our "family vehicle". We have a baby on the way and with 2 80lb Boxers we needed something with a little more room.
Here's a few pictures of the unit:
There's a lot of sharp looking vehicles on this forum and I already know how I want it to look. Problem is... it is the family vehicle so there will be nothing extensive. Just clean and subtle.
First plans are removing the badges and blacking out the Bow-ties. Lowering is not in the question, but those hideous stock rims have to go... Thinking about going with 22's, enough to look good but keep the smooth ride.
I used to be a fan of the KMC Slides but that giant center cap bugs me, I only think they look good in 24's...
I like simple, so I'm debating going with a set of replicas... I was always set on getting the CK375's back when I had my Sierra Denali but ended up selling it.
CK375:
After looking around, I'm also debating the old Escalade 22's, but I'm not sold on the large center cap:
and the TBSS 22's:
Another rim that got my attention was the Esky Concepts, but I don't think anyone makes it in a 22" ???
Pictures are just for reference, either will be Gloss Black for sure.
So who's got pictures of those wheels on a STOCK HEIGHT black Tahoe?
The common tire size seems to be 275/45r22 and 305/40r22... almost the same size minus the width. Anyone have preference, will either rub?
Off-Topic but here's my Daily Driver, loaded LMM Duramax with 3" drop shackles on 22" Monsters:
