Yep, here we go again, thought this might be a better "area" of the forum to post such questions.
Vehicle is 1997 Tahoe 4x4 4dr, stock ride height, wheels-tires on board now, are a somewhat ugly 16x8 3 spoke, Michelin LTX 275/70-16 combo.
Was thinking the Black Rhino 22x9.5 Pondora in Chome, +25mm offset.
Black Rhino themselves, and two other dealers tell me this wheel will fit, +30mm offset would be too much for the OBS Black Rhino claims.
Tire choice, the Nitto 421Q 285/45-22.
The Michelin LTX on board is 31.3" dia 11.1" tread width.
The Nitto 421Q is 32.09" dia, and 11.22" Tread Width.
I know wheel width, and offset will probably be the criteria for fit with no issues, but what do you folks think?
Yes, I know ride will be firmer-harsher, but I'm choosing this Nitto tire for its said smooth ride, and good all round performance. Right now, my Tahoe feels like a boat on water, just too wishy washy. 20's that I see on a daily basis look like go-kart wheels, I'd like the 22" if it will be a go?
(I do have a Hypertech Programmer, so correcting speedo error won't be a problem)
Here's the truck as it sits now. (yes she's an ultra clean LT! With 39.8K on the Odo, one would probably be hard pressed finding a cleaner all original Hoe out there)
