I have a 2002 tahoe that is bagged and I currently have 22" but I want to get 24". I have asked a lot of people and everyone says to not go wider than 9.5" for the rims or I will have to shorten my axle. So my question is would a 285/30/24 look bad on a 9.5" rim. I don't want it to stick out like crazy over the rim and there are not many options at that size rim. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

What width is your rim? I have 22x9.5 now and I don't think I can go to 10" without rubbing the outside fender. Also I want to stay as low as possible and 35 sidewall would be to tall in the back I need to stay with 30.
