Hello,i'm Brian from Belgium.I own a 2001 silverado and a 2004 tahoe. This last one is giving me problems, and since i cannot find a desent mecanic overhere i'll try to get some info this way.
When its in park and i rev up the engine it doesnt go above 2500 rpm. After that the engine seem to stuble.
Had a drained battery a few weeks ago, could this have anything to do with my problem?Since then my paslock light stays illumitated also.

Drained battery can do it. Check out this link to a PDF that has the relearn procedures for GM vehicles.

I have the same problem with the passlock, the relearn is most likely what you need. I reset some codes myself and then had the batter unplugged overnight and had to do the relearn in the morning because my 2001 Tahoe kept shutting off, from the Antitheft passlock,on me while I was driving. It wasn't to long to do for the passlock.
