Hey any help would be appreciated. Im looking at some 26" Rims on 305's for my Tahoe. I do want to get the best stance for my vehicle. Should I lower it as well too? or does it really not need it considering the diameter being so big and filling up the wheel well? Then from what I understand it is probably necessary to upgrade my brakes with a 26" rim. OR should I just get 24's and lower it? This is my second Tahoe, my previous one was lowered on 24's and I liked the look of it, but of course as everyone says, I regretted not getting 26's. So I guess Im just wondering what my best route would be. I know its all to my own preference but others opinions help too. :) Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! I chose to lower mine and loved it, just be prepared to deal with a little rubbing which will worsen the lower you go in the front. Some massaging of the fenderwell's plastic liner will likely be necessary and I also used a rubber mallet to bend the lowest point of the front fenders behind each tire to prevent contact from being made. Rubbing in the rear for me was minimal.

Thanks for the welcome! So I should probably just go all out and do the 26's w/drop and big brake kit? Well ive had 24's before and the ride wasn't terrible, could it really be that much worse with 26" rims? haha I'm so indecisive!

yea... just go with the 26's. I always say... if you have even thought about it.. you will be in remorse when you settle for 24s. I know that is the case for me.
