what size are those km2s? 285/70/17? You got any pics with the keys and spacers in?

Edit:

Nvm. Saw your other post with the keys and spacers. When you get a chance, could you measure the height of your front and rear fender well? From ground to bottom of fender well. I'm interested to see how high you are with 2 in spacers and keys.

THanks man!

Yeah I have Dynapro MT's 285/70/17's I had no problems with rubbing before I put keys and spacers in. Oh and I have an LT not a Z71. I believe the z's were a little bit higher stock than the LT's.?. I am at 39" in the front with 2" keys and 39 1/2 with 2"spacers in the rear of the hoe.

Well this weekend my Bfg 285/70/17s tore my right rear fenderwell right out. Awesome. I am on stock wheels. That fender sits at 38 3/4 high. Just noticed last night that the rub was more than just a rub so I will investigate more tomorrow. No plastic in the driveway so it must have fell off when I got up to speed. :emotions122:

I got 305 / 70 /16 tires on my 2001 tahoe. I have to modify mudflaps in the front a littlebit. I know it rubbing at inner part of mudflaps, and the inner fender, have to be pull back in the front.

I keep seeing people saying that there will be issues with your tires anything over
33" that have wheels that differ from stock offset in terms of using keys in the front, but how about without keys? Can you clear a 285/70/17 without rubbing issues on a bone stock Z71? Also I keep seeing people talking about the Ford Keys opposed to the aftermarket ones, does anyone have a rough ballpark of how much you would get out of the ford keys and/or a part number/ make, model, year?
I know this is 14 years later but for those of you that have ran this size, have you had any issues?

I have a 2004 Tahoe Z71 with stock suspension

I’m looking at a set of Nokian Rockproof LT285/70R17 for a good deal locally.

Will they have any rubbing issues? From searching, I’m seeing some say yes and some say no. Again, on stock suspension

How will they ride compared to what I have now which are hankook dynapro ATM 275/55R20? They do have over 50 percent traead left but I don’t love the way they handle in the snow

I have torsion bars cranked and rear untouched except the top shock bolys are turned around so they dont gouge the tires. Tunning 285/70R17.20240708_095621.jpgIMG_20211227_143901262.jpgIMG_20220330_080206447.jpg
