This thread shows why GM dropped the full-size 2-door Jimmy. They are cool but not practical when we have the Tahoe/Yukon which has so much more space and stability in a slightly larger footprint.

That being said, if my uncle ever wanted to part with his '91, I'd take it in a flash! Mostly for nostalgic reasons but also to build a classic car that's not so complex as our newer ones.

Im assuming he is talking about something like this, actually cutting the body/chassis down to remove the back door and then mending it all back together. If he can indeed do something to that nature, hes certainly not very good at conveying that lol

I believe those are renderings. I haven’t actually seen a newer 2-door conversion.
