2Dr gas tank replacment tips

i gotta change my tank anyone got any tips or advice? its a 1996 yukon gt 2dr

Y dont u just sheetmetal the old one and tack it in. Is it rusted through or whats up with it? Like tack the ta k to fix any holes

Drain as much fuel out as possible to make it light, have a fire extinguisher near by just in case.

Your tank is in rear it should be easy. just drain as much as possible and use a good quality replacement.
