I seem to recall reading somewhere about a GM TSB/PCM flash for the "2nd gear start" condition. The best way I can describe this condition is (intermittent) starting from a stop in 2nd gear or at low speeds when 1st gear is expected. In low speed conditions, 1st can be engaged by applying slight throttle input. Taking truck to dealer for unrelated issue and would like them to flash, unless my memory is going on this?
I see this condition most often in the AZ heat (once or twice during commutes)...not so much since outside temps have dropped. My trans temp never goes above ~180...
