After 10 yrs & 145k miles, I just sold my black/tan 2002 LT and got a black/black 2012 LTZ 4wd. I customized my '02 just a little with wood dash, custom chrome wheels & moldings and always spotted it easily in a parking lot. With my new truck, it seems like everyone in Texas has one! So I'm eager to customize again.
To speed along this project, my husband was pulling our boat over a railroad track and somehow bottomed out the trailer which popped off the ball and slammed into the back of the truck with the force of the 5k lb boat behind it! So it looks like my first project will be the rear.
I'll be debadging and I don't like all the chrome on the LTZ package. I'd like overall to go blacked out, but not completely, leaving just a bit of chrome but exactly what, I'm not sure. But I do know I do not like the chrome strip on the bumper. I'll also be losing the fake wood interior.
My first question is is there a way to view people's albums to get ideas, filtered by recent body style? I've been tediously looking through posts and already see many trucks I like.
