Shame on me for bringing a non Tahoe or yukon discussion to the board but i just cant find anything else on the internet about it...91 C1500 2wd 4" spindle lift.
I just recently ordered a 4" spindle lift off ebay from SuspensionSpecialist and it was delivered today. well, when i went to put it on i unbolted the old spindle and replaced it with the lift spindle but when i went to bolt up the upper ball joint i noticed the very end of the upper control arm was pushing into the top of the new spindle causing it to jam and couldnt turn the hub assembly left or right or finish tightening the ball joint nut. on top of that mess i noticed the camber was way out and it was pulled in at the top WAY too much. so i reluctantly dissassembled and put the stock stuff back on till i can find answers.
so my question for yall...has anybody done the spindle lift on a 2wd? and was it similiar issues? i always thought the spindle lifts bolted right up and they clearly say "no mods required" "simple bolt on install"
help me out guys. im new but in need of some input.
