I'm new here and don't exactly know what I'm doing so bear with me.
I'm looking at used 2020 Tahoes and I'm not sure if a 3.08 axle is ok for my towing.
My camper is about 3700 lbs empty. I pull it 50 miles 2x per year. I will be going up expressway hills and a couple side road major hills. I currently have a 3.42 in my 2012 Tahoe. Will a new 2020 Tahoe pull my camper ok with my scenario?

50 miles twice a year? Sure. If you get lucky and find a 6.2 with the 10 speed, you can drag your camper side ways if needed.

Welcome to the forum.

I don't see a problem with a trailer that light. Now you said empty weight. How much is the weight when loaded?
