Ok so for about the last 3000 miles i have put on my truck, i have been fouling what looks to be oil about every 1000 miles. i sometimes get a check engine light and sometimes dont. when i check the codes they are always the same. multiple misfire and cylinder 5 misfire. i take the plugs out, clean them up, regap and reinstall. again from time to time i can kind of feel a slight miss at start up. is oil getting past the rings at this point?

Boy, a picture of the fouled plug(s) would really help determining what's going on. Did you just clean them?

well... no opinions? no answers to why this could be happening? i would have thought that someone with a 350 vortec in the past would have had this same problem at some point or another... anyone with any help on this topic would really be appreciated guys. thanks!
