Has any one successfully removed the 3rd row? What does it look like once removed?

I just want more storage area I have 2 KIDS and one on the way. Plus one is disabled and uses a wheel chair. Stupid that gm made them a Permanent fixture. Maybe I'll try and remove them and see how it looks.careful as well because one of the holes leads to right under the truck like its a non sealed hole

Got any pics I'd like to see2016 Yukon Denlia rear seats removed first day of ownership, 9 bolts, several wires to disconnect, double seat very heavy, also removed rear plastic storage box

it shrinks the height of the cargo area pretty substantial. So I have no need for it. I'd rather have the extra space.Folding the seat is not enough? Is the regular vs XL different?
