Those of you with 3rd row seating: Do you leave it in the vehicle or store it outside? I rarely use it and find myself flipping them up and down for the space back there, so I have left them out for a while now.

What would be a good solution for storage? I don't think they will do well in a shed where the temps fluctuate like crazy. Not a fan of hauling to the basement unless I can think of no other ideas. Garage just gets in the way. Lol

I could leave them IN the truck, but I heard something like every 100lbs extra in the vehicle is 1.0 mpg lower. Idk

Temps inside the truck fluctuate widely too ;), but I'd be more worried of bugs/rodents getting to them in a shed. I leave mine in, folded down with a towel over top of em.

I pull mine because I rarely use them. They’re placed in black plastic construction bags and left in garage. No issues.

I had an 07 Tahoe and I would say that was my biggest issue. I would remove the seats for my daily driving and for years I stored them in the garage on a shelf. I live in FL so temp is an issue. They were heavy and began to show some wear. Also, I did notice that the metal did start to show some rust after a while. My bigger problem was one of the seats started to have trouble unfolding. It would stick when I tried to install it and open it up. I became nervous that I would not be able to open it so I started to leave them in the vehicle. Just got a 15, so I am glad to not have that problem anymore. Good luck.

I used to keep them in the garage but spiders would make webs on them then grass and other things floating around on a garage floor got into the webs and sometimes one has issues latching down. Midwest is pretty humid so something could’ve rusted. I just leave them in now just incase I need them.

I keep them in and only remove them if I'm needing the space for some reason

mine are folded up in the truck if I were to take them out for any period of time I would just keep them in a closet or something

When I took them out, I just put bags over them and then an old blanket and put them on a shelf in the garage,
