2005 Tahoe 2wd. I ordered a set of 4" springs and shock extenders for the rear of the truck. Also did 2" spindles up front. After mounting everything up front it went smooth and looks good. Not so much for the rear. It only dropped 1" So I assumes the springs were the wrong ones. Called the company and got a second set. Turns out it only dropped 2". Returned em and went we a different brand. Now the drivers side dropped just over 3" and the passenger side 2". Everything else is stock. What the freak am I missing???

well...

What kind of springs have you ordered? What's the brand name?

Do you still have your OEM shocks? Even if you use the shock extenders, the shocks might not compress but so far.

One thing you can try is put the truck on the ground, jack up the rear, remove the bottom bolts of the shocks and pull the bottom of the shock towards the rear and let the truck down. See how far down it goes without shocks.

The drivers side will ALWAYS be a little lower than the passenger side because of the "Chevy lean". Your gas tank is only on the drivers side. You can do stuff to try to fix that, but let's not worry about that now/yet

BTW, :welcome:

So after driving me nuts for hours last night, I pulled the shocks out of the bottom of the extenders. And guess what...... I dropped it like it was supposed to. So now I know what I need. Thanks guys.

did you install the shock extenders in the correct direction? they should be aiming downwards. If you did, then good, lol
