It's the best riding suspension I've ever put on something lowered.
I'd like to leave mine at the current height. This Belltech suspension rides terrible. Bad move.
Just a matter of time till it gets chucked into the dumpster and get the Atomic coil overs.
At the rate I'm going there should be a build thread.6.2, S/C,brakes, coil overs etc.

Started with the 2/4 drop . Too low for me plus the rear was too closed to the bump stops and I'm not going to cut them off. Then I raised up both the front and rear and it's about 1" lower than stock now. But it's still a rough ride. Rougher than stock. With the right coil overs that should have been installed from the beginning the ride should be much better. Oh well.

The rough ride is probably these Belltech shocks and they are not getting any softer.

I've never heard a good thing about the belltech shocks withride quality. With barely a 3" drop in the rear the factory bump stops shouldn't have to go anywhere.

Get some Bilstein 4600’s. You’ll be happy.

With the front down 2" rear down 4" the rear was hitting the bump stops on highway clover leaf. First time it happened took me by surprise.

Sorry for bumping your thread Dan.
Now back to the big brake thread.

That's kinda surprising it touched, the free travel mod isn't too bad and done right noone would ever notice.

Not my thread so idc!

That’s odd. I guess you didn’t use the drop knuckles for the 2” drop? I debated for well over a year about dropping mine because I didn’t want to ruin it but finally pulled the trigger on the 2/3 drop and it rides 100% as good as it did stock. I have Autoride and wanted to retain that so I also ended up using McGaughy’s shock extenders since they drop a lot more than Belltech’s. I was thinking about changing the rear Belltech springs to a different one that doesn’t need the spacer but not for any ride issues.
