4200DVD Bypass

I went ahead and did the DVD bypass tonight using Youtube instructions

DVD is comming on as expected however my Emergency brake light is on and will not go off no matter if Emergency brake engaged or disengaged..
DId I miss something? Anbody got an idea of what I may be doing wrong?:emotions122:

If I had to guess, its backfeeding into the light and you need a diode.

If you tapped a 12v wire, band side will face the dvd unit.

If you tapped a ground wire, band side will face the parking brake.

I figured it out as soon as I went to bed that night. It's a bypass and my dumbass tapped into the existing line I previously had going to brake. once I removed excess wire to brake everything is good. :mfr_closed1:
