Hi, i have some problem With My transmission. It started when i put it in reverse after being in park on idle for a minute. There was a "clonk" and it was like chewing alittle, put in drive and same. Back to reverse an got out on the road. Went Down the road to dads place(150m) in drive on idle, there was some scraping sound ,sounds like left front. I went back and fourth With care in his drive was , turn car off, then back on again. Checked oil level in trans. It was ok. Oil and filter changed for 2 month ago. Old oil smelld ok.
Did some drivning in the backyard ran thru gears and all 4wd modes. The chewing is away but i have some growling in reverse and first. Shifting to second gear it dissapear. Only first and reverse has it. But. Shifts soft and runs as should. I have a leaking oil seal left front driveshaft. Changed oil there to and it was a LOT of oil there to so it wasnt empty. But seams like its leaking more now. Its in the garage for seal change now. But im worried for that other noise. Anyone has an Idea? I Google it an had reaction planetary as a suggested failiure . Thanks for answers.
