4L60e Transmisson Pan

Has anyone replaced their Trans Pan? Im Looking to replace the oem one with a Different one due to a couple reasons. 1 I want one with a drain plug to make less mess when i Do a gasket and filter replacement. 2 I got a supercharger on order so id like to make trans Drain and fills more frequent. Ive been Looking at the PML one that has a drain plug as well as built in Fins to help with cooling and holds a little more Fluid in it. Anyone got Something they tried or recommend?

I did the dorman one.....fit was great. Did mine for the same reason your doing it....so i can do my drain and fills on my own. Just need to order the gasket as well.

Do your transmission a favor and put in a very big transmission cooler as well.

Plan to but after the sc install. I don't know how it would mount or how much space I'd have due to the front mounted heat exchanger

Happy with my MagHytec on my 04 Silverado other than installing it was a *****.

My 08 dosnt seem to be bad. Brie exhaust Dosent run under the pan directly

Any other transmission upgrades in the works? I'd imagine that 4l60e aint gonna last forever with that supercharger.

Should be fine. Have a corvette servo installed. Only plan on running 6 pounds of boost.

If your vehicle is not lowered, consider a B&M deeper transmission pan, it will hold 3 1/2 Qts more than stock, all aluminum with cooling fins and drain plug. It will also come with a new longer tube to hold the transmission filter.
