4x4 Fuse Blows

what would cause this? And, of course, it will not go into 4HI or 4LO. Neither are backlit either.

My first thought is a bad wire shorting.
But check the fuse make sure it's the correct size. (do not replace a 10 amp with a 15 or 20, etc...)

You may have to pull the plugs and start testing wires.
I would need a wiring diagram, but a ground would well ground.
A power wire however should not, and would indicate a short if it does. So check continuity to ground on the wires. Could be wrong but sure you should have 1 ground.

So it was a shorted front axle actuator. It had been replaced by the PO at some point and used a non-OEM actuator. The wiring connector had been changed too. So it now has the right actuator and connector.
