5.3 in OBS Stock

Another thread mentioned this, and my brother and I talked about it for a long time the other night but never came to a solution. Now, I know 5.3's were offered in 99 OBS trucks although very rarely. I've worked on a factory z71 extended cab with one. However, what about 99 Hoes and Burbs? And 2000 Hoes? Has anyone ever seen one they know to be factory? Not that I want one over a 5.7, I just think it'd be one hell of a unique truck. When we worked on the z71 that had one in tech school, my instructor offered to buy it from the old man on the spot when he saw the vin code for the 5.3. Too bad the guy turned him down.

But anyway, anyone ever seen one?

Nope, if it was a factory 99 with a 5.3 it was the GMT800 platform that came out in 1999 with the newer rounded front end.
