Dynoed my 2wd 6.2 escalade on 24s yesterday and 91 octane gas made

368RWHP
398RWTQ

Truck got warm on dyno and didnt even touch the vvt and still running low timing so next time out going to turn up the wick :)

Mods so far
Tune (Cost varies where you go)
Magnaflow muffer ($130)
Cut off resonator (free)
SLP Crank Pulley with belts ($300)
Taylor Wires ($80)
TR6 plugs ($16)
Volant Intake ($250)

Next mods
Ported intake manifold ($450)
Ported TB ($100)
Low temp thermo ($20)

368RWHP is about 450 hp at motor at 18 percent loss
398RWTQ is about 485 tq at motor at 18 percent loss

Going to dyno again the 6th to see how the ported manifold/tb and playing with the vvt works out.

I'm at 500BHP all N.A. on my 2001 tahoe. 6.0L bored and stroked, heads cam. LS2 throttlebody , TBSS intake mainafold, k&N CAI, dynotech, LT headers with free flow cats , MSD coils and wires cherry bomb extreme single chamber muffler, 4L80 transmission fully built Circle D converter with a 2800-3000 stall, compushift II controller, Yukon 4.10 gears with a eaton , and a full dyno tune. Unless you are going F.I. good luck, it can Be Done N.A. but if I had of to do over I'd prob just build the bottom end and go F.I. And if you aren't ready to spend the dough you won't get it. Not being ugly just telling you the truth. I have two Tahoes, my 2001 is a toy and my 2008 is one of our daily Drivers. The 2008. Has a AFE dry filter CAI, res delete, and the edge juice with attitude tuner. Feel free to PM me for specs and parts list if you like

my old tbss
intake/cam/long tubes/ported manifold 467/472 at the wheels on pump 91 and that was thru 4.10 gears/yank 3600 converter and on 305 35 22s which weigh a lot more than my drag set up which was 325 45 17 on 17x11s. I then did the ported heads but never could get to dyno. on a 125 shot went 11.39@120 with stock long block before heads and smalelr cam.

my tvs2300 tbss was a screamer also. Been down this road many times before.

to get 475/500 crank hp need like 20 more in each category and can prob get there close and if needed I can just do long tubes ive seen kooks 1 7/8 do over 35 rwhp on a 6.2 on the dyno so that would put me well over my goal..... but at a cost of another 1300 bucks

btw black tbss my wife drove daily she wanted more chop so i got her a good cam that did it and very streetable. I drove the truck on saturday nights to street races she drove it 99 percent of the time

You are almost there :mexsmoke: and I would like the losses would be more like 15% (or was that based on your stock dyno?). Check the fullsize forum, those guys have some great builds.

Those 6.2s are strong with mild mods.

My wife on spray would leave harder then me on the tvs. Off a roll from 40 we would be neck to neck and id pull around 100. Im sure the truck ran about same time as hers but had more mph.

3600 converter on a 125 shot is brutal out the hole in a tbss.
