5305 with the 3 dead coils cut off truck came down to 30 inches on 305 35 24s. Needed notch but didnt ride bad.

Just a heads up for those that have the 5305 coils and want to bring the rear down. you can cut 3 coils and get another 2-3 inches easy out of them with no change in ride since they are dead when full weight is on truck.


if your tahoe leans to one side CUT OFF THE HIGHER SIDE FIRST since it will bring other side down also. 1.5 loops will get you about 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch.

which side of the coils would be considered the dead coils?

coils that touch when load is put on it. You can go in my vendor section i show the pics of the springs cut.

yes before you start cutting measure both sides and if one side is higher start to cut from that side. THe driver side will also drop down at the same time.

if both sides are even start off with 1.5 loops and then go from there.
