6x9s where the 4x10s were

guys whats up. Listen I no its been talked about before here but help me out.
i wanna throw my pioneer 6x9s in the rear roof area where the 4x10s use to be. How can I accomplish this easily and cheap. thanks

Very easy. Just double check the depth on the 6x9s. Some fit some dont (if you want to keep the stock look. Use a dremel to slightly mod the cavity. Plenty of write ups in here on different ways and techniques just use the search. Good luck

yea there a little to deep. gonna need a adapter so where can i get one for cheap. Wasnt there a guy here who use to make em?

I'm no stereo guy but plywood and a router? Maybe a sheet of ABS and router it?

x2 if you don't have a router you can do it just as easily with a jig saw. have done siome spacers for a previous ride a while back out of some scrap plywood and they worked fine.

basically the same thing with abs or whatever you want to use.

i unbolted the plate cut it out to fit the 6x9s and bolted in back in and then bolted the 6x9s in there a little to deep but the cover fit back over still
