7mm wires or 8.5mm

The factory wires for these trucks is 7mm, the "performance" wires at my local atuo parts store are 8.5mm


is it worth it?

well i wouldnt spend my money on a throttle body spacer, or that vornado thing for my intake... not because im a joo, but because i dont want to spend my money on things my truck wont benifit from

why do the wires make a difference if i buy LT's? Those are the ones i was looking at from Auto Zone

Aftermarket headers don't use heat shields like the oems, plus they can be closer to the wires so you're at a much higher risk of torching a stock plug wire. The msd have way better insulation than the stockers.

well im sold then... since i am doing the wires i was gonna throw in new plugs too but i cannot find the goddamn TR55's anymore...

Go to napa and tell them you want 2238 ngk plugs. hell autozone and checker should have them too. Don't forget to gap em at .040.
