Finally got around to install an android head unit for the 02 Tahoe. It took a while to find a decent one with all my output/input requirements. Having a 1.5DIN factory radio, this was my best option. I love the 16 band EQ and DSP function.

I dig it. I went with the Alpine just because I hadn't seen that one.

Does your display come off? I have the 10.1 and don’t think I’ll ever get anything else again. Does your volume go high enough for you? What launcher are you running?

Hi, the display is detachable. It's pretty loud, I have a 5 channel amplifier hooked up to it.

I use the stock launcher, just cleaned it up a little and put a bowtie wallpaper.

I love this head unit. It has everything I need. Great sound quality too.

Not a judgement but a legit question. What does the 9" screen get you that a more traditional double-DIN does not?

Hi Wylie, I have a 2002 Tahoe, it came with a 1.5 DIN radio. A 2DIN would be nice, but I'd have to purchase the 2 DIN bezel and cage to make it work and look clean.

Shipping the bezel and cage costs about $200 to ship to Manila. This was the best option for my case.
