95 tahoe bucking

i have a 95 tahoe 350 tbi its bucking and strubbling only throws a code sometimes but when you turn it off and fire it back no code. but when it throws the code while running it stops bucking and stubbling and runs great. blocked off egr with a plate didnt help would may be a bad ignition coil be causing this. have new o2 and tps, new fuel filter and new tank and pump.

If you havent done a complete tune-up (rotor, GOOD wires, plugs, etc.) I'd try that too.

Why would you block off the egr if you dont have a custom chip to rule out the EGR???!!

Mike how does your tranny react to this problem? Do you get stuck in a gear or are unable to get fourth gear? Any other minor details?

the cat was clogged cut it off runs great
