97 chevy tahoe turning over but wont start

i have a 97 chevy tahoe 4x4 that will not start. it turns over has fuel pressure and spark but will not start. what else could be the problem

A failed sensor indicating engine position like crank or cam sensor.

This might not be your problem but check your cap and rotor. Mine were less than 2 years old, tahoe had been running absolutley perfectly. Went out to start it less than 12 hours after parking it the night before and it would not start. A big rain storm was moving in and the moisture in the air was enough to fill the cap/rotor with moisture, along with the corrosion already in cap.

Tahoe would not start, just cranked and cranked. I even had spark at the plug..albeit, not a hot spark. Installed new cap/rotor and she started right up.
