Hello all,
Have a couple of questions about these?

Can these be rebuilt with new bushings? If so, does anyone know where such can be gotten, to point me in the right direction with common parts stores?

If not rebuildable, where can one then get the links without too much hassle?

As some of you might know, these are different than the front, look like Dogbones.

I had changed all other bushings on both Sway Bars a few years back, but never did these.

Probably one reason I didn't, was seeing that the driver's side upper attachment bolt will be a ****** to get out, as the darn Gas Tank is in the way. (maybe an easy job for a sawzall instead, then put a new bolt in from the other direction?)

Hello Sunlit/All

For the heck of it, I stopped in at the local NAPA today, and they are ordering them for me. They had two types, the cheap Chinese versions, and the better OEM, which were just only a couple dollars more. Right around the same price you mentioned, I think $32/ea plus tax. I'll have them Tuesday.

I'll need one new Bolt, because of course I'm not dropping the Gas Tank to get it out.
A Sawzall will make short work of that, and simply install the new Bolt the other way.

All of them were re-done with Red Poly not long back, but these, and hate cutting corners when I do something. The originals were starting to look like ass under there.

Apparently, no rebuild kits for such, a shame, the rubber parts (or Poly if could be gotten) would've been a heck of a lot cheaper. Will yank the entire Bar, Spray Paint, and re-install.

(Update)
Did take the entire Rear Sway Bar out this morning (fighting winds in this horrid state)

Was able to get the Upper Link Bolt out by removing the Rear Driver's Tire, removing one of the Bolts on the Upper Link Bracket, that's bolted to the Frame, and loosening the other, swinging that bracket 90 degrees, and removing the Link Bolt.

Getting it out, easy, putting it back, a little testy, thankfully have a nice magnet on a flexible long shaft to fish the bolt back into the Frame Hole, and button the Bracket back up. (No room to get your hands up in there)

Lots of fun working on the ground with these trucks! Reckon I should be happy it's not a sports car, only 4" off the ground.

Tomorrow I'll re-paint the Sway Bar, get the new Links Tuesday, and button it all back up when I can.
