Hi all,
I have a 97 Tahoe that has run perfect up until recently.
In the morning when the Tahoe is cold while driving it stutters badly.
It only does this while maintaining speed or accelerating lightly. It idles fine and if I punch it, it stops doing the stuttering. As soon as I drop back down to maintaining or lightly accelerating it stutters and almost sounds like it is trying to backfire. I can hear sputtering coming from the tail pipe.
After about 5 miles it smooths out. I can still feel some hesitation but no where near as bad.
I have given the Tahoe a tune up. I checked and cleaned the MAF.
I don't know what else to do and am looking for more suggestions.
Thanks in advance.
