My tahoe runs a little over 210 during the day with light to medium traffic. During the night or cooler months it runs under normal temp. I have a new 160° thermostat installed. But in this Texas summer, it's running a little hot. Not a lot of pressure in the upper and lower radiater hoses at operating temperature. Trying to figure this out quick.

How does the clutch feel in the fan? Are the fan shrouds still on the radiator?

The clutch in the fan is shot. There should be enough tension to immediately start slowing the fan down to a stop. If the clutch isnt in working shape the fan wont spin with enough force to move enough air to keep things cooled down.

You can either replace the clutch, go to a solid fan setup or switch to an electronic fan setup.

Replaced fan clutch and exhaust manifold gaskets because of exhaust leak. Still running hot. Full of coolant.
