Hi, So I dont know much about much at all and so i have to ask -
my tires now have LT 245/75/16s and they were P245/75/16s..
Noticing that the Lts have a psi of 80 and the Ps have the psi of 35
In my doorjamb it says recomended 35 psi all around so,
1: are Lt tires bad to have on this rig?
2: if they're (Lt tires) ok to have on shouldn't i pump them up to their recommended 80 psi?
3: may i get some details please?

(Hope this is the right place to put this)

The tag on your door should tell you the actual size and type thats supposed to be on your truck also. My 97 sticker doesn't suggest lt tires but no it wont hurt anything. As far as tire pressure you should contact the tire mfg for a recommendation to air psi for what your using them for. Lt tires will just give you a stiffer ride than regular tires.
