97 Tahoe where is the orifice tube

I am doing an A/C repair and I need to change the orifice tube. Where is it located?

With rear air its near the y-pipe on the passenger side, no rear air and its in the condenser.

Yup bottom tube of the condenser, it'll look like a white +

Some come out very hard and some do not so take your time with it.

I do not have rear air. I didn't find it in the line to the evaporator connection at the firewall. Is inline at the condensor behind the grill?

Yes correct behind the grill, I forget which line I would have to look at it. But you should see a crimp in the line which will be the correct one.
