97 yukon speaker problems

i did some searchin online thats how i found this forum. i just got fixing yukons. anyway i have the strangest problem. the yukon has stock radio 4 kenwood 6 1/2 doors speakers in it and stock rear roof speakers. the radio played sound in all of them b4 we reaplaced them but it was a lot of static from them. after we replaced the door speakers only the front passenger side door plays sound. no rear speakers at all. please any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks

If you have the optional amp it may have burned out.

or you could have a wire grounding out to the body some where check them all and tape up any bare wires or connectors

I had a similar problem with my fronts then my back speakers. I finally just hardwired them all to the deck and it worked great...Then i hard wired them to an nice little alpine amp...and it worked better
