98 differential questions

I have a 98 Yukon with a 3.73 GT4 front differential that needs replacement. The local shops want $1400+ to rebuild it. I can find a local pulled one for around $600. I've found a few on eBay for less, but the years are always different. Will a 2000 gt4 fit my 1998?

It should with out issue. And if you did not know gt4 just specifies the ratio. You actually have a 8-1/4" front ifs axle. Will find in the trucks too.
