98 Tahoe New Tires and Modifications

Its been a while since i posted here and wanted to thank everyone for their help on picking tires. After all was said and i read everyones review i picked up a set of Dick Cepek Mud Country tired with the DC 2 rims. 285 75 R76. Added 2 inch blocks in the rear and cranked up the torsion bars for now.

Well i got these tires in October and now finally have had to use them with all the snow in the North East. I live on Long Island and parking on my block SUCKS so i have to make myself a parking spot that no one will take on me.

hopefully those DC2's are better than the DC1's on the clear coat quality.

i burned through two sets on finish warranty before 4wheel parts said no more.. my 951's are about to go back for a finish warranty... indiana uses WAY to much salt...

How much did that run you? And where did you get em? Looks good.

TireRack.com Ordered them on a Monday night around 9pm and they were at my front door by noon on Wednesday with standard shipping mounted and balanced. Rims were 139 Each tires about 214 each all together it was $1525.00 delivered
