What should I be watching out for on the below 99 Tahoe:

Later today I'm looking at a 99 2 Door Tahoe LS Z71, 137K, 6" Fabtech Lift, HD Stall Converter (whatever that means, Torque Converter?), new paint, 17"wheels and 35" BFG MudTerrain tires.

I've owned and loved our 97 4 Door Tahoe but replaced that with an 01 K2500 8.1L 4.10:1 geared beast of a suburban that we equally love.

This is going to be the "boys" truck. I've got 16(tomorrow), 13 and 8 year old boys that need a suitable truck. Hunt, fish.....all the typical boy stuff. Did I mention that the 16 year old is 6'8" and still growing? Yes, we grow them big at our house, need some leg room.

I wanted an old K5 Blazer but the wife demanded ABS and airbags.

Thanks in advance!

Things to look for especially with a lift is that all the bushings are in order. Ball joints and such being that they've taken abuse from 35in tires. also if your wife is so inclined with the ABS these wheel bearings and sensors tend to go. Also i just checked and the rear glass likes to leak. at least mine did. also you might want to make sure that this guy went through the extra steps on the lift too. Brake lines, gearing yadda yadda.
