New to the forum and to Chevy. Just picked up a 99 2dr sport Tahoe. Bone stock. Truck needs tires so I want to swap out the rims and tires for a more rugged. What is the largest wheel and tire I can run on a stock suspension? I'm thinking 18s. I haven't really gotten into the truck much but plan on a slight lift as well, but nothing too crazy as this will be a daily driver with minimal off-roading. Any information you guys can provide would be great.

it is not so much the wheel size as the offset and tire size that gets you. on a stock truck 18s with 5" back spacing and I would not go larger than a 33...that will be tight

Decided to keep the stock 16s and just beef up the tires for now. Does anyone know what the largest size I can fit on the stock 16s with stock suspension? I'm looking at general grabber at2 265/70/16. Currently running 245/75/16 all seasons.
