Hello,
First post here, hopefully in the correct spot.
I have a 99 Escalade with a 5.7 Vortec. I have swapped the "black box" with a "411" ECM. Truck has been tuned & runs good. My fuel gauge is erratic. While in drive & moving the gauge is reading empty. If I come to a complete stop it reads past the full mark. If I put it in neutral while rolling the gauge goes past full also. I have unplugged the sending unit & let the truck roll down the driveway & still the same. I have unpinned the wires I added to the transmission range sensor for the ECM swap & still the same.
Could it possibly be something in my tune or something needing adjusted in the ECM? I've read a few things on fuel gauge segmentation but honestly I'm not yet familiar with what is entailed with it.
These issues happen with a full tank & less than half. Tank level has no effect on gauge.
