99 Suburban door lock issues.

1999 Suburban.
I replaced the door lock actuators with cheap auto parts store stuff they lasted a few months then all five took a dump. They were kinda fried in the pulling closed position. I was a real problem trying to get the doors open.

I then replaced all five again with NEW GM dealer junk and 3 of the five took another dump.

Could it be another bad batch of actuators or something else causing this?

You either have a linkage/mounting problem causing adverse angles on the actuator assembly or supplied voltage problems burning them out. IMO

As for the electric side of things they are power switched by a relay up in the dash to the right of the steering column in case the contacts in it are burned up. Also check body grounds as well.
