Hi, I have 99' 2 door Tahoe 5.7 with 262, 000 miles. I install a crate 5.7 at 247,000. Has anyone tried to use police package calipers and pads with a vacuum brake systems?

You're talking about a GMT400 Tahoe?
GMT400 Tahoe police package calipers, rotors, and pads fit inside a 15" wheel, believe it or not.
Long story short, not much of an upgrade, although it should bolt up easily enough.

Want a serious braking upgrade for not much money?
See if you can make use of the GMT900 front brake kit.

Recently upgraded my GMT800 '02 Tahoe Z71's front brakes.
Ordered 2010 Tahoe PPV front caliper brackets, calipers, rotors, & pads.
It all bolted right up easily, like it was intentionally designed to do so.

So surprised by the 60MpH-to-0MpH braking improvement, nearly ate the steering wheel.

Only problem is 17" wheels are absolutely necessary.
